SERI (Security Education, Research and Innovation Conference) is the annually held flagship conference by DSCI’s NCOE. The conference brings together leading academicians, researchers, engineers, industrial participants, and students to showcase their cutting-edge research work in diverse Cybersecurity domains with the global experts. Unlike other cybersecurity conferences, SERI showcases the unique capabilities by allowing experts to present their research papers to the industry.
After hosting the inaugural event in 2020, DSCI NCOE team wanted to make SERI bigger in all aspects. The format, the number of speakers and papers presented and the engagement levels. The marketing efforts had to be re-looked at and amplified to meet the needs.
To meet and excel on Client’s expectations, ChimpzLab team drew up a strategy and developed a comprehensive plan to approach the marketing in the right way. A new fresh visual identity for the SERI 2021 was conceptualized and an elaborative pre-event marketing plan was established that identified leveraged possibly all the unique offerings of the event and marketed them. The early identification helped in better execution of the event website, social media marketing and ads, emailers, newsletters, and other content. These resulted in SERI 2021 being a great success overall.
